I am a first year junior doctor (house officer) working in cardiology at Waitākere hospital currently. I graduated from Auckland University in 2024 after 6 years of study. My medical journey began in 2019 following my acceptance into medicine via the undergraduate pathway. After spending 3 years in preclinical study from 2019-2021 I moved to clinical placement. I spent 2022 placed in Tauranga Hospital, 2023 at Auckland City Hospital and 2024 in Northshore/Waitakere hospitals. I have tutored many students in my time on a one to one basis and find that my style of teaching involves heaps of drawing so tends to work best for visual learners.
